Our event, Relay For Life, is the largest fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. This is a community Relay For Life that focuses on the greater Arlington community. At the event, we celebrate, remember, and honor those who we have lost to cancer and those who are still fighting their battles with cancer. At the fundraiser, we host a survivor dinner where cancer survivors and their caregivers have a meal together. We have cancer survivor speakers and a Luminaria Ceremony where caregivers share their stories of the ones we've lost to cancer. This event brings around 150 community participants to fundraise for the American Cancer Society's life-saving research and cancer support programs (e.g., rides to treatment, support hotline).
