Summer may be coming to a close, but at Miranda's Hearth the dancing is still hot!


Join us on Sunday, September 24 for an evening of incredible music with Hearth favorites, Julie Vallimont & Anna Patton! Julie performs nationwide on piano and accordion with the bands Buddy System and Nor’easter and other collaborations. She plays for contra, English, and French dancing. A former classical pianist and organist, she fell in love with traditional music and dance, and since then has gone on to perform at numerous festivals and music camps.


Anna Patton plays clarinet with great verve, clarity, and harmonic whim, drawing on a richly eclectic musical background of jazz, classical, traditional, and world music. Based in Brattleboro, VT, she performs full time for dances and concerts, composes and arranges music, and teaches ear training and swing harmony singing.


This month, Waltzdays is happening right after the 3rd Annual BIG Tiny House Festival! Head down to Stoughton, MA from 12:00-6:00 pm to check out TWELVE tiny houses during the day and then join us at The Democracy Center in the evening to whirl the night away.


THE DETAILS


7:00-8:00 pm:
Beginner waltz lesson. All are welcome, come and learn the steps so you can enjoy the night!


Where: Democracy Center, 45 Mt. Auburn St. Cambridge, MA


Admission: $10 general, $7 students. All welcome!


Transportation: The Democracy Center is right on the red line in Harvard Square! Parking can be tight, but all the metered spots are free because it's Sunday!
