The early mariners of Cape Ann were not only hardy fishermen, boat builders, and prosperous merchant sea captains, but also cunning and courageous defenders of a new nation during both the War of Independence and the War of 1812. Join Stephanie Buck and John Huss as they share a wealth of fastening stories about the gallant seamen of Gloucester and Manchester as they battled the supposedly invincible British Navy!
