The February comedy showcase brings headliner Liz Miele and feature Doug Key to Somerville
Something Big is a monthly comedy showcase hosted by Nick Chambers & Al Park, bringing some of the country’s best stand-up comedians to Boston to perform at this intimate venue.
Liz Miele has appeared on Comedy Central, FOX, AXS TV, and Hulu. She’s been featured in The New Yorker, NY Times, Runner’s World, Psychology Today and The Guardian. Her joke “Feminist Sex positions” went viral both on YouTube and Upworthy.com. Liz also recently released her debut album “Emotionally Exhausting.” She regularly tours with “The Nobodies of Comedy,” Armed Forces Entertainment and just got back from her fourth European tour.
Doug Key is quickly becoming a favorite on the comedy scene all over the East Coast. His charmingly honest yet sarcastic dissection of modern media, relationships, and family drama connect with every audience. Doug was featured in the 2013 Boston Comedy Festival and is a regular at Gotham Comedy Club, Caroline’s on Broadway, and Comix at Foxwoods Resort Casino., and has made TV appearances on MTV’s “Broke A$$ Game Show”, ABC’s “The Chew”, and VH1’s “Dating Naked”.
