In celebration of spring, the McMullen Museum invites everyone to participate in a day filled with children’s programming, music, artmaking, and guided tours of the exhibition. Young children (ages 3–7) may build their own Easter baskets and find eggs hidden throughout the Museum (prior registration required) while visitors of all ages enjoy live music by "The Millis Berfield Band," games, arts and crafts, and free docent tours throughout the afternoon.
Arts and crafts will include bubble painting outside and scratch away etchings in room 302; Museum staff will read Latin American-themed children’s books for ages 3–8; and the Museum will provide giant memory cards and dominoes for visitors to enjoy on the lawn and in the Daley Family Gallery.
Second Saturdays are free and open to the public. Because seats for the Easter egg hunt are limited, however, participants must register with the museum prior to the event at http://bit.ly/2jtros5. All other arts and crafts, story-telling activities, and games on April 8 do not require prior registration.
