From its humble beginnings in 1993, the series includes signposts of modern music:
-- Kruder & Dorfmeister established a downtempo revolution through it
-- Thievery Corporation became stars
-- Tiga introduced himself as a global brand
-- Kode9 showed how breaking genres was the new norm
-- Later, artists like Maya Jane Coles, Moodymann, and DJ Koze set new aesthetic bars


All told 56 releases have been stacked up and now it's time to celebrate #57 with the man who needs no introduction: Matthew Dear
