Lobstah, Brews and Beats:
The Get Down.
Snappy Lobster, Castle Island Brewing Co. and Viale Partner for 1st Annual ‘Get Down.’
WHAT: For one night only on Thursday, May 11th, 2017, the First Annual “Get Down” pop-up will take over Viale located on Mass Ave. in Cambridge’s Central Square. In partnership with Snappy Lobster and Castle Island Brewing Co., the First Annual “Get Down” will feature enough culinary iterations of lobster dishes to make even the most jaded Instagrammer feel faint.
Set in a communal beer hall type setting set to the sounds old school hip hop, Chef Greg Reeves will feature shareable plates paired perfectly with customized brews. Try the Chilled Lobster Salad with cracked wheat, fresh coriander, tomato and colatura ($14) or the Duck Fat Lobster Tail and Pork Belly with crispy duck skin, orange, cabbage and lime ($18). In need of a carb rush? How about the Lobster Pizza featuring black garlic ricotta, grana, English peas and crispy shallots ($17)? The smell of the grill will waft through the building when the ½ Grilled Lobster with red jalapeño, basil butter, squid, and sweet potato ($16) hits the main stage. For the less adventurous dive into one of the largest and freshest lobster rolls in New England with the Viale Lobster Roll with hand-cut French fries, house made bread and butter pickles and red cabbage slaw ($26).
The First Annual “Get Down” will be available on Thursday, May 11th, 2017 from 5:00PM – 10:00PM. Viale offers brunch every weekend from 10:30AM to 2:30PM and dinner seven days a week from 5:00PM-10:00PM Sunday- Thursday and 5:00PM- 11:00PM with a late-night menu until 12:00AM on Friday and Saturday.

ABOUT VIALE:
Viale opened in Cambridge’s Central Square in 2014 under the ownership of childhood best friends, Executive Chef/Co-Owner Greg Reeves and General Manager/Co-Owner Mark Young, serving ingredient-driven, Italian-inspired food in a warm and casual environment. The rotating menu showcases seasonal pasta dishes, appetizers, and entrees including simple grilled pizzas and meats perfectly charred on a wood-fired grill. Ingredients are locally sourced from some of the finest farmers and fishermen of New England. The wine list features the vintages of small organic and biodynamic growers, and the artisanal cocktails and craft beers are all created with the same care as the food on the menu. Viale is open seven days a week and brunch on weekends. Dinner service: Sunday – Thursday 5:00PM – 10:00PM, Friday – Saturday 5:00PM – 11:00PM; Brunch service: Saturday – Sunday 10:30AM – 2:30PM.
