On August 13th, Legal Sea Foods in Park Square will host a four-plus-course wine dinner featuring the New Zealand brand, Cloudy Bay. The winery’s roots began in Marlborough in 1985 – a region that seemed unimaginable to set up any type of vineyard at that time until founder David Hohnen’s intuition and visionary spirit was able to bring it to its full potential. A true reflection of the luxury terroir and character of New Zealand, Cloudy Bay is recognized for its iconic flavors with a global twist – specializing in selections of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir wines.
Understanding the extravagance of New Zealand’s unique climate and change of seasons is an expertise for Jim White, Cloudy Bay’s technical director and winemaker. An Australian native, passionate for agriculture and viticulture leads the operation to perfect every vintage produced by Cloudy Bay’s vineyards. Today, Cloudy Bay is recognized as one of New Zealand’s leading wine brands, as well as one of the most premier winemaking locations in the world.
Legal Sea Foods and Jim White will team up to host an exclusive four-plus course dinner featuring signature cuisine paired with renowned Cloudy Bay wines. The menu will be presented as follows in Park Square’s 10,000 bottle wine cellar:
