Please join Voices Rising for our winter concert “Heavenly Bodies.” Our concert explores the inspiration we receive from looking heavenward. The universe has provided composers and poets as wide ranging as Randall Thompson, Van Morrison, Sara Teasdale and Sappho of Lesbos with ample fodder for beautiful verse in music, prose, and poetry. Our song offerings this season revolve around this celestial inspiration, and the comfort we can find in knowing we are a part of something bigger than ourselves.
