FREE Jamaica Pond parkrun 5K at the Arnold Arboretum on July 13 at 9 am.


July 13 will be Run Club Day so come sporting your running club singlet/gear and earn some bragging rights.


🌳 What is JP parkrun?
parkrun is an international network of 1400+ FREE, timed 5K runs. The JP parkrun is held every Saturday at 9 am. Its home is Jamaica Pond, but it's temporarily located at the Arboretum due to construction at the pond. It's an inclusive event that's great for anyone who wants to run or walk a 5k.


🌳 When is JP parkrun?
JP parkrun occurs weekly, but we've invited community running clubs from all over the local area to join us for this special event on Saturday, July 13. The run starts at 9 am, but aim to get there 15-20 minutes before the run starts.


🌳The Arboretum is a big place. Where exactly does parkrun start?
JP parkrun starts near Hunnewell Visitor Center, located at 125 Arborway, Boston MA 02130. (It's about a 10 minute walk from the Forest Hills stop on the Orange Line.)

🌳 Do I need to register?
Only if you have not previously registered for parkrun. If that's the case, sign up for FREE here or by clicking the link below: https://www.parkrun.us/register/.


Remember to add your running club to your profile. Once registered, you will automatically be provided with a barcode. Bring a *printed* copy of your barcode to the run. This will allow you to get an official time.
