And we’re off to the races! Join us at Island Creek Oyster Bar in Kenmore Square for the fastest two minutes in sports! In celebration of the Kentucky Derby, the bar will be serving up Derby classics like Mint Juleps and Whiskey Smashes with Smooth Ambler Spirits Bourbon, and Chef Nicki Hobson pulls inspiration from Churchill Downs with things like Buttermilk Biscuit Slider Sandwiches full of bourbon BBQ short rib and classic Kentucky Hot Brown, as well as Derby Deviled Eggs and Blue Grit Fries (snacks and drinks will be available on a first come, first served basis from 3:30pm to 6:30pm). As usual, inspired outfits are encouraged, and the best dressed of the day will be awarded a prize, so dress to impress!
