At City Wine Tours, we think learning about wine should be as much fun as drinking it! On our tours you’ll go to the heart of a Boston neighborhood - either Assembly Row, Back Bay, North End, South End, a Sparkling wine only tour at Harvard Square or our all new Theatre District Tour, and sample delicious wines, taste contemporary cuisine and discover great restaurants and wine shops. Every neighborhood is different, but we drink good wine and we have fun on every tour. No snobs allowed!
Our tours last about two hours. During each tour you’ll visit two restaurants or wine shops, sample six wines, try several food pairings and walk a short distance from one place to the next. We limit our groups to 12 guests to keep things relaxed and intimate. Our guides are folks who LOVE wine, who work in the wine industry and who have wine tasting or education certification. At each stop you’ll be welcomed to a reserved table with wait staff ready to serve. you’ll learn how to find a great wine value, to match food with wine and how to be a savvy buyer at wine shops.
