On Sunday, October 14th from 11am – 5pm, Boston Animal Rescue Collaborative
will host its annual BARCtoberfest event at Down The Road Beer Co. in Everett. This free, family friendly event will feature a bevy of fun programming for people and pups both inside and outside the 2,500 sq. ft taproom. BARCtoberfest guests will enjoy over 15 beers on tap and bar snacks for purchase, pet-friendly vendors, games, live music by The Boston Naturals and John Dillon Music and a furtastic doggie costume contest and parade. Compete for the glory of the blue ribbon and the chance to win an enormous Chewy.com gift basket for our grand prize! Special workshops will include a dog park etiquette seminar, pet portrait painting and fall floral arrangement class. There will also be an opportunity to meet adoptable four legged friends from local rescue organizations; Last Hope K9 Rescue, Patra’s Pitty Project, and Survivor Tails Animal Rescue. Last but certainly not least, Sunday football will be broadcast from a projection screen throughout the event. BARCtoberfest beer steins will also be available for purchase along with other opportunities to make donations to BARC.
