Adoptive parents, foster parents, adoptees, and birth parents will not want to miss Adoption: Identity Through the Lens of Experience, an multi-media and experiential workshop will be presented Friday, October 6th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Association Headquarters located at 24 Farnsworth Street, Boston. A viewing of Six Word Adoption Memoir (6WAM) 2017, a documentary depicting six-word soliloquies by members of the adoption constellation, workshop focused on the lifelong adoption identity process, and panel discussion with co-directors Derek Frank, MFA and Ridghaus, JD, MA., and adoption professionals is included in this event.
