Slim Jim and the Mad Cows take you on a spin through your big brother’s Judas Priest and Motörhead cassettes via your uncle's collection of Johnny Cash and George Jones 8-tracks. They may be metalheads at heart, but make no mistake: these mad cowboys and cowgirls will have you simultaneously do-si-do-ing and banging your heads at their rousing live show! They call it "country-fried metal"—and Merle Haggard would approve.


A veteran of both the New England singer-songwriter/coffee shop circuit and the Boston rock scene, Magen Tracy currently lends her voice and keyboard stylings to the martini rock of Parlour Bells, the whiskey ballads of Nate Leavitt, the rhythm and soul of OldJack, and now to the folk-infused piano rock of her solo project, Magen Tracy & the Missed Connections.


Other affiliations and former projects include: Girls Rock Camp Boston, St. Helena, Coro Allegro, and The Kickback Band


Lonely Leesa and the Lost Cowboys take you to the place where love has died. Then we sit at the bar stool and we write songs about the it. Channel our inner Loretta and Lucinda.
