Whiskey Pairings, Smokey Scotch, & Filet Mignon headline a dinner of decadence.
This Valentine’s Day at Saloon they’ve added a few specials to their standard menu for an indulgent evening of celebration.
Chef Shayne Nunes will be adding a tender pan-roasted filet mignon with baby carrots, cauliflower pureé, truffle bordelaise and crispy shallots. If you’re looking for lighter fare, there will be a sweet potato and red quinoa hash with roasted mushrooms, baby kale, parmesan and basil ricotta. To finish, he’ll be adding a flourless chocolate cake and vanilla bean panna cotta.
Bar Manager Luke Graham has created classic whiskey cocktail pairings that are sure to capture the adoration of your special someone. There’s the Irish kiss with Irish whiskey, sweet vermouth and Strega. If that doesn’t fan the flame, how about A Dozen Roses made with Cognac and Cherry Heering?
