Women 18+ Join us for 1 hour of SOCIAL, FUN EXERCISE and RUNNING for FREE! Walkers wanting to learn how to run, beginners and experienced runners welcome! We are not your average running club; at our group runs you can expect fun games and/or drills for warmup and conditioning then off for a group run led by one or more certified 261 coaches, followed by a cool down. Our short group runs focus on proper running technique for efficiency and injury prevention in a non-competitive, non-judgmental way!
Come experience our group MeetRun for FREE and have the opportunity to join for a minimal yearly fee thereafter! We meet Mondays at 6:30 a.m. near the Dartmouth Street overpass to the Esplanade. Email [email protected] for details.
Come to Inspire or be Inspired! Look forward to seeing you there!
261 Fearless Inc. was founded by Kathrine Switzer, who – wearing bib number 261 – became the first woman to officially run the Boston Marathon, in 1967. In its effort to expand in and around Boston, 261 Fearless is seeking women who would like to become empowered through running or help establish clubs in their neighborhood, as well as connect with 261 Fearless coaches from around the world.
