Nick Kharufeh is a passionate advocate for vision research and a dedicated fundraiser for Mass Eye & Ear. After a firework accident in 2020 left him blind in his left eye, Nick relocated from California to Boston for groundbreaking treatment at Mass Eye & Ear. Thanks to their exceptional care, he regained vision and found a new purpose—supporting the hospital’s mission to cure blindness and restore sight for others.

Now, as a 2025 Boston Marathon runner for Team Mass Eye & Ear, Nick is committed to raising $10,000 to fund life-changing research and patient care. Through events like his charity spin class, he hopes to bring the community together to make a meaningful impact. Join him in the fight against vision loss and be part of something bigger!
