Bio

Just JP is a Boston-based drag performer, producer, curator, writer and organizer who loves putting on a show, fighting oppression, eating pupusas and looking fabulous. Born and raised in El Salvador, she brings latinidad to every space they occupy. JP started doing drag in 2016 and has not stopped since. They won the first cycle of Drag Gauntlet back in 2018, and is Mx Gay Boston 2022. Just JP can be found all around the city, but mostly at her home bar Jacque’s Cabaret. Just JP believes in creating community centered spaces, and is committed to making Boston’s nightlife a safer, more vibrant space for all. They live in East Boston with her cat, Charliecard.
