Bio

Founded in 1997, the Harvard Colombian Student Society (HCSS) represents and unites over a hundred Colombians across Harvard University. In addition to students, our members include faculty, researchers, staff, and their family members.

The core purpose of HCSS is to serve as a forum for innovative, critical, and interdisciplinary dialogue on important issues facing Colombia.

We promote Colombian affairs at Harvard, highlight the work and talents of our members, create lasting bonds with other communities in Massachusetts, and provide a platform for member-led initiatives in order to learn collectively through our rich diversity. Through cultural and social events, we strengthen the proud Colombian identity.
