On the first weekend every November Waltham Open Studios hosts its annual celebration of creativity in the arts. Over seventy Waltham artists will open their studio doors from 12–6 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. This popular event offers an insider’s view of what Waltham’s vibrant arts community has been up to all year. The public can see art where it is made, meet the artists, attend artist demos, get inspired, make purchases and carry them home that day. The all-original work will include painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, fiber, jewelry, photography, installation, and film/video. There will also be live music performances.
All studio and gallery locations are on Moody Street in downtown Waltham.
More information, including artist profiles and images of their work, is available at www.walthamopenstudios.org. For press-ready images, contact [email protected].
Waltham Open Studios is funded in part by the Waltham Cultural Council of the Massachusetts Cultural Council and through the generous contributions of business and community sponsors.
