As we sat there crushing pints of Village Lager, we tossed around a question: "what's the perfect food pairing for a German-style zwickelbier?" A few sips and some contemplative thinking time later, the lightbulbs snapped on above our heads: a zwickel and a pickle! We did some taste tests, and loved this pairing so much that we had to share it with everyone.
Who better to help us make this vision come to life than the brine-masters from Grillo's Pickles? They'll be joining us at the Taproom in Everett to pair two delicious-yet-hilariously-named creations together. When you buy a pint of Village Lager, we'll pass you a ticket and send you over to the Grillo's table for a free pickle!
Grillo's will be selling containers of their tasty treats at the table as well, and we'll have 4-packs of Village Lager so you can do your own pairing at home. No tickets or cover, just pay as you drink!
