Zoomathon Monday is a telethon style fundraiser streamed on Zoom to raise money for students affected by COVID-19. The event will be held on Patriots Day, the original scheduled date of the Boston Marathon - April, 20th. The ultimate goal is to give students a place to come together to celebrate the BU tradition of Marathon Monday while giving back to their peers struggling during these difficult times.


The event will feature some of BU’s best talent, including musical performers and comedians. Viewers will be encouraged to donate throughout the stream with incentives such as the chance to interact with performers, compete in games, and win prizes. Although the event is not affiliated with Boston University, all money raised will be donated to BU’s Dean of Students’ Student Life Emergency Fund. This fund helps students with urgent needs who seek support for their education, housing, and even food.
