Learn from Dr. Karen Weber-Salamanca, the founder of Boston GreenFest, about the trade-offs of plastics!


This event is part of the “Zero Plastics” workshop series put on by UNICEF-USA Boston, United Nations Association of Greater Boston, and Hostelling International Boston. The goal of these events is to inform the public on the implications of plastic use and to provide solutions to reducing one’s plastic consumption.


For the second event, Dr. Karen Weber-Salamanca, Founder of Boston GreenFest, will be sharing on how to reduce negative trade-offs when giving up plastic. For example, what this means for choosing alternate resources and how to be sure we eliminate and not just substitute it.
