The Facade of the Boston Public Library Transformed.
Zebbler Studios, founded by VJ/Artist Peter “Zebbler” Berdovsky, are known both locally and internationally as pioneers of video-mapped concert stages and large-scale multimedia installations. Their creations are dazzling integrations of light and sound, immersive experiences rich with mind-bendingly. Driving these complex multi-sensory confections are innovative, made-from-scratch approaches that often include uses of physical and software sensors, custom Fourier analysis, lasers, LEDs - anything that can bring their vision alive as “one organic, beautiful, living whole.” Zebbler Studios’ aesthetic and sensibility resonates with the tech-oriented environment of their home city of Boston. The team has completed projects for Google, Facebook, Defcon (Las Vegas’ yearly hacker convention) as well as taken part in many national and international concert tours - representing Boston’s love for technological innovation on the world stage.
Zebbler Berdovsky, a VJ and fixture of Boston’s electronic music scene, came to Arlington as an exchange student at the age of 16 from Belarus. He graduated from MassArt with a focus on video and show production. Zebbler Studios is a collaborative effort that evolved from his participation in VJ projects, including the Together Festival and commissions by the City of Boston. His artistic credits include Best Local Visual Artist (Boston Phoenix, 2009) and Best Boston Artist (Improper Bostonian, 2007), as well as #12 VJ in the World (DJ Magazine, 2007). Corporate clients also include Verizon and Red Bull, and ongoing tours with EOTO, Shpongle and Zebbler Encanti Experience.
