Great artists give free concerts at New England Conservatory—simply because they teach here.


Pianist Yukiko Sekino is a member of the NEC Preparatory School and Continuing Education faculty. Gold Medalist of the International Russian Music Piano Competition and a winner of the S&R Foundation’s Washington Award, she has performed throughout the United States and in Europe, China, and Japan.


She will give a solo recital in NEC’s Williams Hall. Included in the program are Beethoven’s Sonata in D, Op. 31 No. 2 (“Tempest”), Chopin’s 12 Etudes, Op. 25, Copland’s Piano Variations, and recent piano preludes by David Rakowski
