Join the Boston Public Library and Inspired Masses Director & Bentley University Professor Jane De León Griffin as she sits down for a conversation with Boston-based authors, storytellers and teachers Bill Littlefield, Theresa Okokon, and Shirley Jones Luke. In this conversation, each author will read from a recent work, discuss their creative process as writers and storytellers, and share their experiences as active members of Boston’s literary community. All three panelists are also judges for this year’s Boston in 100 Words writing contest and will be sharing their tips for how to write a 100-word story for the contest and what they will be looking for as they select this year’s winning stories.
This program will happen over Zoom meeting. To attend, please register here: https://boston-public-library.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAocOytpz8iGd1WKIHTyYgZU1RKfb9PuOLh.
People who want to submit to the contest are encouraged to visit this link: https://www.bostonin100words.com/web/. The deadline to submit an entry is Saturday, December 17.
