WorldFest, a fun, family friendly, multicultural festival celebrating our culturally diverse community, is returning to Woburn for its eighth year on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 1-5 pm. Visitors can enjoy artwork, crafts, activities, cultural displays, and of course food from all around the world while performers entertain the crowd with dance and music.
When entering the festival, “check in” by pinning the country or countries of your ancestors on a world map. Also be sure to pick up a program and a passport for the children so they can take advantage of the many free children’s activities. This year’s participants represent countries from across the world such as Guatemala, India, Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia, China, Ireland, and more. So mark your calendars and bring your family and enjoy an afternoon filled with culture and fun! WorldFest will take place at Library Park Field (63 Harrison Avenue Woburn, MA) and the rain location will be at the Woburn Memorial High School (88 Montvale Avenue Woburn, MA).
This year’s WorldFest is being planned by the YMCA International Learning Center and Social Capital Inc. with support from outreach partners the Winchester MultiCultural Network, People’s United Bank, the Mass Cultural Council and the Shepherd's House.
