Woodshop Certification is for experienced woodworkers that would like to work independently in our workshop during Open Workshop hours or book the workshop for private independent use.


This class will cover general safety and workshop procedures, material handling, and expectations on how to use The Makery workshop.


In order to gain access to the tools, it is required to show competency by completing tasks on each of these machines.

- planer


- miter saw


- router


- table saw


- band saw


Certification on individual tools is also an option.


This class is appropriate for 18+
