Join Project STEP for an evening at New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall featuring Project STEP alumna Mariana Green-Hill, violin, Project STEP student musicians, and Longwood Symphony Orchestra. This incredible evening also introduces Boston to Longwood Symphony Orchestra‘s (LSO) new Music Director Jotaro Nakano. Project STEP is honored to collaborate with Nakano, LSO, and Ms. Hill whom also serves as the Artistic Advisor at Project STEP, as well as a member of the string faculty. All funds from the concert and reception support Project STEP’s students and program.
Where your ticket funds are going: For over 40 years Project STEP continues to advocate for early and long-term access to high-quality classical string training for our student musicians, providing a creative and safe learning environment for a successful future. Thanks to the generosity of friends like you, we are able to amplify the stories and voices of our young musicians of color.
