The Langham, Boston, will celebrate Women’s History Month with its fourth annual Women’s Day Dinner in Grana on Thursday, March 6 starting at 6:00pm in support of Women’s Lunch Place, a daytime shelter and advocacy center in Boston for women experiencing hunger, homelessness and poverty.

“We are so grateful to all of the female culinary talent who have donated their time to participate in our fourth annual Women’s Day Dinner,” said Michele Grosso, Managing Director at The Langham, Boston. “This event not only celebrates Women’s History Month, but supports Women’s Lunch Place and their mission.”

The dinner will feature a four-course meal prepared by a selection of celebrated female culinary talent including Pastry Chef Kerry Levesque of The Langham, Boston, Chef Tiffani Faison of Big Heart Hospitality, Chef Sarah Wade of Stillwater and Sloane’s and Chef Inna Khitrik of Women’s Lunch Place.

"Since its inception, Women's Lunch Place has been a community shaped by formidable and visionary women—guests, volunteers, staff, and supporters alike—who lead, inspire, and transform our mission," said Jennifer Hanlon Wigon, CEO of Women's Lunch Place. "This year, we will honor their legacy and strength as we gather at Grana to celebrate International Women's Day and raise critical funds to support women as they overcome hunger, homelessness, and poverty in our community."

Women’s Lunch Place is a day shelter community for women experiencing poverty and homelessness. Trained staff and volunteers work as a team to provide 2,200+ women each year with healing, hope and dignity. Their Advocacy program enables women to overcome the barriers to stable housing caused by unforeseen circumstances as well as systemic inequality. Advocates connect guests to a range of services such as workforce development, legal aid, benefits, critical medical care, mental health resources and substance-use disorder treatment. Guests also work with housing specialists on transitioning out of homelessness, securing housing, and preventing eviction.

Tickets are available for $215 and include a four-course meal, wine pairing, welcome cocktail and tax and gratuity. A portion of the proceeds will directly benefit Women’s Lunch Place. To purchase tickets, click here.
