Whois Jed presents another free event. Fancy. Whether you are interested in getting involved in the tech community for the first time or looking to expand your network, we hope to see you there!

Please join us at WeWork Mass Ave (Central Square Cambridge) for this free event to engage with a panel working in different roles in the tech industry as they share their "boots on the ground" experiences and answer your questions about the Boston innovation ecosystem.

Glo-sticks will be handed out (for no real reason other than why not?)

• Stephanie Castaños - Stephanie Castaños leads alumni and hiring partnerships at Resilient Coders, a non-profit organization that trains people of color for high growth careers as software engineers, and connects them with employment opportunities.

• Pariss Chandler - Creator of the #BlackTechTwitter hashtag and movement, Founder of Black Tech Pipeline and Front-End Developer at G2i.

• Cass Hebert - Product Designer at BondLink and former IU Designer and community manager.

• Winnie Gong - Product Designer at Lola.com and former UX/UI Designer at Lovepop Cards.

• Amma Marfo, Moderator - Amma is a dynamic and sought-after speaker on topics such as leadership, group dynamics, and learning. She speaks on college and university campuses across the country, at regional and national conferences, and has partnered with organizations like HubSpot, Wayfair, Startup Institute Boston, and General Assembly.

• Jed Hammel, Organizer - Jed Hammel (Volta video productions, events include Filmshift Festival, City Awake, Workbar, The Boston Calendar) plans free events because he is passionate about creating unique experiences, continual learning, and he believes in the power of bringing people together...and because he is a fan of cheese plates. Lately, he's been directing videos for Techstars, Blackstone Launchpad, and for a female-led LBTQ rock band. Fancy.

(A few daring audience members may be encouraged to do the "We Will Rock You" clap/stomp to welcome our panel to the stage, but we're playing that one by ear.)
Thanks to our gracious host, WeWork Cambridge, and to our presenters for offering their time and advice.
