"In this workshop you’ll learn how to incorporate incense into your personal Satanic rituals and create incense blends aligned with your ritual goals. Shiva will introduce you to a variety of resins, herbs, and woods that have been used throughout history that you’ll be able to touch, smell, and and experiment with throughout the class. Then, you’ll learn how to create your own loose incense blends that correspond with your ritual goals. At the end of the class, you’ll use your new knowledge to create your own loose incense blend.
Each attendee will receive their own personal incense making kit which includes:
Magician mortar and pestle cauldron which can be used for preparing and burning incense
An assortment of herbs, resins and woods to use for incense making:
Incense containers
Charcoal disks
Incense spoon
Incense tongs
This class will take place on Friday, April 29th 2022 from 6:00pm to 8pm at The Satanic Temple Salem, 64 Bridge Street, Salem Massachusetts
Proof of Vaccination Required. COVID safety protocols will be followed in accordance with state and local requirements.
About Shiva:
Priestess Shiva Honey is an Ordained Minister of The Satanic Temple. She joined the Temple in 2014 and was a founding member of the Detroit chapter and the National Council of The Satanic Temple. In addition to being a chief architect of The Unveiling, Snaketivity, and other TST Detroit actions and rituals, she organized a number of national events/campaigns, including bringing the Baphomet statue to Arkansas 2018. Shiva has led rituals at The Satanic Temple Salem and created rituals and ritual tools for Satanists throughout the globe through her shop Serpentīnae. In 2021, she was awarded The Satanic Temple’s Anatole France Literary Award for Contemporary Literature for her best-selling book The Devil’s Tome: A Book of Modern Satanic Ritual and created The Devil’s Deck, the first Satanic ritual deck. Her work has been featured in the film Hail Satan? (2019) and CNN’s This is Life with Lisa Ling: The Satanists Next Door (2015) and was featured on Satanic Planet’s self-titled album in 2021."
