Let's hike the Welch and Dickey loop in the winter! This trail is rated by AllTrails as difficult at 4.5 miles, with over 1700 ft of elevation gain. I plan to hike at a moderate/slow pace (~1-1.5 mph), please do not join this hike if you don't plan to stick together with the group.

What to bring:
Waterproof insulated boots
Non-cotton layers
Headlamp
2-3 liters of water insulated
Snacks and lunch. You will be burning a lot of energy!
Microspikes (snowshoes depending on trail conditions)
Gaiters
Hat
Gloves
Wool socks
Copy of map (electronic or paper)
Positive attitude
Please do not join this hike if you do not have winter hiking experience. If your ridj-it profile is bare, please list your most recent hikes. It's expected that each participant has a copy of the map and is responsible for their own safety. You will be turned away from the carpool pickup if you do not have all listed gear. Again, we will try to stick together as a group as much as possible!
