Aimee Toner, flute
Flutist Aimee Toner is dedicated to expanding the scope and accessibility of recorded, taught, and performed music. Toner made her solo debut with the Columbia University Orchestra in April of 2019, where she performed “Poem” for flute and orchestra as the winner of the 2018 concerto competition. Toner’s ensemble experience has involved serving as the principal flutist and piccolo player in a variety of orchestras including the New York Youth Symphony, the New Amsterdam Opera, and the Claremont Chamber Orchestra, and collaborating in chamber groups that have ranged from jazz trios in Italian restaurants to wind quintets on stage at Carnegie Hall. As a solo artist, Aimee headlined a contracted recital series along the East Coast before the onset of COVID-19, where she performed in St. Simons Georgia and Jamestown, NY.

He also has served as an associate member with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago for two consecutive years.
Nathalie Vela, oboe

During her undergraduate degree she attended the Jacobs School of Music where she studied with Linda Strommen. Ms. Vela is originally from San Antonio, TX, where she found her true love for her community. She uses this skill of encouraging a culture of togetherness in all the ensembles she’s in and believes in the power of self-liberation.
