Wild About Harry: "Best of the Fest" - Palm Springs International Film Festival
Join Producer, and Wild at Heart Films founder, James Egan for a screening of the film Wild About Harry (PG13) and audience Q&A. Afterwards, stay for a book signing with PEN Grant award-winning journalist Dan Perdios, and his book A Golden Retriever & His Two Dads: An Adventure on Cape Cod—a story that takes place on the set of Wild About Harry!
Please register on our Eventbrite page to attend.
Set in 1973 and inspired by true events, Wild About Harry (1 hour 23 minutes) tells the story of the havoc wreaked in a teenage girls' life when she discovers her widowed father is gay. Alternately comic and tragic, the film captures the homophobia of the time set against a backdrop of small town America on Cape Cod.
A Golden Retriever & His Two Dads shows that when a Golden Retriever plays matchmaker, anything is possible! A Golden Retriever named Willy introduces two guys who become his Dads. Together they take off to Cape Cod to make a film.
