Join the American Repertory Theater on Saturday, June 4 for Who Gets to Make History? an interactive, family-friendly workshop led by Boston-based social justice project for children Wee the People.
What are monuments for? Whose stories do they hold up for celebration? Whose stories do they erase or keep hidden? In this workshop, Wee explore what monuments mean and reimagine how they can celebrate values of community, equity, and justice. Hands-on making for all ages!
This event is part of Declaration Reclamation, a series of workshops offered in connection with the A.R.T.’s production of the musical 1776. Attendees of this workshop will receive 2 free tickets to the June 28 performance of 1776.
Capacity is limited, so sign up today!
