Senator Mike Barrett will be giving an brief talk regarding Massachusetts Initiatives to mitigate Climate Change
Scott Blanchet, Chief Development Officer at Nuvera Fuel Cells will follow Senator Barrett's talk with brief talk on the Commercialization of Fuel Cells at Nuvera.
The Keynote speaker, Charles Myers, President of the Massachusetts Hydrogen Coalition will provide a technology update and insights into the wide range of applications hydrogen can play a significant role in.
The topic of the keynote talk - H2@ Scale - will focus on the science behind the Department of Energy's National Hydrogen Program -as well as discuss the opportunities that it will create for business creation in fields that will revolutionize the way energy is produced, and business is conducted.
Topics covered will include:
DOE H2@Scale program
An update on the Northeast hydrogen infrastructure in place and in construction
Renewable hydrogen generation using wind and solar to provide grid support and energy resilience.
There will be a fuel cell vehicle available following the presentation.

Charles Myers is the President of the Massachusetts Hydrogen Coalition, the fuel cell and hydrogen industry association for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is a consultant to the U.S. Department of Energy Fuel Cell Technology Office who in June 2017 recognized him with award for his leadership and commitment to the advancement of hydrogen and fuel cell infrastructure in the Northeast. He is the Chair of the Massachusetts Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Working Group and a member of the Rhode Island Zero Emission Vehicle Working Group
