After a successful first year at Aeronaut Brewery and Artisan’s Asylum in 2016, WhatIMake: 2017 is coming to Lesley University in Porter Square. The event hosted by Miranda's Hearth will take place on April 22, 2017 at Lesley’s University Hall right on Mass Ave.
WhatIMake: 2017 is a daylong celebration of local makers that combines short inspirational talks in the morning with hands-on workshops in the afternoon. This year, the presenters are focusing on music, acting, entrepreneurship, writing, woodworking, conversation, grant-writing, traveling, and interactive art environments.
Miranda’s Hearth is a community-based business in Greater Boston that builds community through creativity that is approachable, affordable, and accessible. In addition to organizing six monthly, interdisciplinary event series and the annual BIG Tiny House Festival, the Hearth presents WhatIMake once a year to highlight the variety and quality of makers throughout Greater Boston.
