Wellness isn’t just a priority for our Kimpton Marlowe Hotel guests – which is why this summer, we’re bringing wellness to the Cambridge community. From June 7 through August 16 (with exception of July 5), every Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:30pm will feature a different outdoor workout session in our Kimpton Marlowe courtyard. Workout class are open to hotel guests and the public and will be led by one of our expert fitness partners – Cambridge Athletic Club, Community Rowing, YogaByCandace and Public Body - Boston. Take a class for a $10 donation; 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Charles River Conservancy.* Please see our summer class schedule below.

ABOUT THE WORKOUT CLASSES:
Public Body Bootcamp: Public Body is Boston’s premier outdoor fitness experience, balancing unique fitness programming along with a healthy dose of social fun. Established in 2012, Public Body is known for intense workouts including metabolic training, athletic conditioning, body weight and equipment-based workouts, unique fitness events around Boston and Cambridge, and above all, an unrivaled community of hot and awesome fitness fans. Bootcamp sessions with Public Boston will be offered on June 7, July 12 and August 2
Community Rowing Class: Rowing is the hottest indoor workout in the country. This summer, we are teaming up with Community Rowing, Inc. (CRI) to take their brand new interactive rowing experience outdoors. CRI’s world class coaches will introduce Marlowe guests to the sport, equipment and how to row. As guests rows on the rowing machines, participants will follow a video projected on the hotel facade of elite rowers as they row down the Charles River. No rowing experience is needed. All ages and fitness levels are welcome, per the CRI mission: "Rowing for All." Outdoor row studio with Community Rowing, Inc. will be offered on June 14, July 19 and August 9
Cambridge Athletic Club Bootcamp: By utilizing mostly body weight in intervals, multi-planar movements, change of direction, agility drills and plyometrics, Cambridge Athletic Club will condition the body and its energy systems to function more efficiently, and prep for the rapid acceleration, deceleration and split second change of direction that's required in most sports. Classes start with a dynamic warm up to prepare the muscles and connective tissue to ready guests for the work and ranges of motion that they will go through. Not only will this class help you perform better in your chosen sport, but it's also a great supplement to anyone with weight loss goals. Bootcamp sessions with Cambridge Athletic Club will be offered on June 28, July 26 and August 16
