Join us as Jeff Kinney's popular character takes center stage as Greg's cartoon diary becomes a hilarious and heartfelt musical in DIARY OF A WIMPY KID, THE MUSICAL. Middle school is the worst, but Greg is determined not to be at the bottom of the popularity chart. He'll leave that to his weird neighbor, Fregley. Or maybe Greg's best friend, Rowley Jefferson. But it's not going to be Greg... no way. Will Greg's plans to become popular lead him to sacrifice his one true friend? Can anyone avoid the dreaded Cheese Touch? Grab a hall pass and don't be late for an adventure familiar to anyone who actually survived or is currently surviving middle school!

DIARY OF A WIMPY KID, THE MUSICAL features two talented casts composed of 59 students between the ages of ten and fifteen. Cast members of DIARY OF A WIMPY KID, THE MUSICAL reside in Wellesley, as well as other communities including Needham, Newton, Dover, Holliston and Medfield. The production staff includes: David Wright, Director & Music Director; Hannah Shihdanian, Choreographer; Luke VanCleve, Scenic Design; Ben Gilman, Assistant Director; Alexa Lambert & Clara Robinson, Stage Managers; Kay Bardwell, Costumes; and features pilot projections by Broadway Media. DIARY OF A WIMPY KID, THE MUSICAL has a book by Kevin Del Aguila, and Music and Lyrics by Michael Mahler and Alan Schmuckler. It is based on the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book Series by Jeff Kinney and the 20th Century Studios Films, and is produced through special arrangements with Broadway Licensing Global.
