We will be visiting several waterfalls in northern New Hampshire during peak waterfall season:
a. Arethusa Falls in Harts Location (Crawford Notch State Park): is a 160-foot waterfall fed by the Bemis Book. It is the single longest drop in New England and the tallest waterfall in New Hampshire. Along the way, we will also be seeing Coliseum and Bemis Falls on the Bemis Brook trail. Coliseum Falls is not notable for its drop, rather it has a unique shape that is carved like a coliseum. Bemis Falls is another unique, but small waterfall along the trail. If people are interested, we can check out Frankensteins cliffs as well.
b. Ripley Falls in Harts Location (Crawford Notch State Park), NH: is a 100-foot waterfall fed by the Avalanche Brook. The waterfall flows over a rock wall, which is at a 60 degree angle, so it is one of the steepest-angled slides in New England.

c. Gibbs Falls (White Mountain National Forest): is a waterfall with a 35 foot drop, which flows into a gorgeous, clear, rocky-bottomed pool.
d. Silver Cascade (Crawford Notch State Park): a waterfall with a series of cascades that hop and skip from left to right down the southwestern side of Mount Jackson, one of New Hampshire’s 4,000-footers and ends at the Saco River. This is right off of US-302, very easy to access.
