Join the Friends of the Boston HarborWalk on a walking tour of the East Boston Harborwalk.


Tour East Boston from Maverick Square to the Boston Shipyard and Marina. Discover the crucial role the waterfront played in shaping East Boston's rich maritime history and proud immigrant heritage and consider the challenges and opportunities its waterfront berth creates for the future, all while enjoying fascinating stories, stunning parks and spectacular views of Boston.


At tour's end you will be encouraged to visit the ICA Watershed and the Nantucket Lightship on your own in order to continue your exploration of East Boston.


All are welcome, but please only RSVP if you plan to come, as space is limited and we want to be able to contact you in case of inclement weather.


The Friends of the Boston Harborwalk is a volunteer group affiliated with Boston Harbor Now. The group meets monthly to promote awareness, public enjoyment and local stewardship of Boston’s 43-mile Harborwalk.
