Walk Like MADD is a family-friendly 5K Walk and Fun Run that brings awareness to the community about the dangers of drunk driving, pays tribute to those who have lost their lives to drunk driving and raises funds for MADD's essential programs. All funds raised support programs to help those affected by drunk driving and to prevent this senseless tragedy. Every dollar donated remains in the community providing victim services and prevention education at no cost.


Registration will begin at 9am with the walk/run to start at 11am. Come for the walk and pack a chair to relax and enjoy the entertainment including music from DJ Saucytron, Kid Zone with games, face painting and a Kids race! The Massachusetts State Police is bringing the BAT Mobile which will be open to the public for viewing. The Breath Alcohol Testing Mobiles are command posts that are deployed to sobriety checkpoints across the state to enforce impaired driving laws. Smartstart will also be there showcasing the Ignition Interlock technology that the MADD staff is hard at work trying to get the state to pass new legislation regarding.


We also have some incredible raffle opportunities such as signed sports memorabilia from all Boston sports team, passes for Duck Tours, restaurant gift certificates and the chance to win Park-Hopper passes to Disney World!
