Mark your calendars for the 13th annual Walk for Independence, happening May 31, 2025 from 9am to 12pm!
The Walk for Independence supports the Carroll Center for the Blind's mission of empowering those who are blind or visually impaired to achieve independence and to lead a fulfilling life.
Attendees will complete a 1, 2, or 3-mile walk around the Mt. Ida campus of UMass Amherst in Newton followed by activities for all ages.
There will be free BBQ, popcorn, Cabot’s ice cream, multi-sensory food tasting with a variety of local vendors, explore new assistive technology and applications, and more!
