What the Fluff? is a madcap festival honoring the invention of Marshmallow Fluff in Union Square. It celebrates Somerville’s proud tradition of innovation with creative Fluff concoctions, live music, Fluff-themed games, and much more.
WHAT WE'LL BE DOING:
One Brick volunteers will help support several activities at the festival which may include:
- supporting "Midway Games area"
- prepping supplies for "Shenanigans stage" activities
- supporting "Fluff Merch stations"
- packing everything away at the end of the event
More information will be provided by the Event Manager closer to the date of the event.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:
Some activities (but certainly not all) are known to get sticky at times :). Smocks, disposable gloves, napkins, wet cloths, etc. are provided, but please dress accordingly.
WHERE TO MEET:
Come to the volunteer check-in table at 90 Union Square.
Directions: Multple MBTA Bus Routes serve the Union Square Area. Note this will occur during the shutdown of the Green Line Union Square branch. Shuttle buses are available to Union Square from Government Center. Please plan accordingly.
