Session 1: Thursday, 3/4, 6 - 8 pm
Session 2: Thursday, 3/11, 6 - 8 pm
In this two-day workshop participants will learn specific painting techniques used by Daphne in her own portraiture work. Beginning with a tonal underpainting in acrylic, Daphne will take you through her unique process of portrait painting. The two sessions involve a method of establishing values with a monochromatic underpainting, building upon thin layers of paint, and finishing with several layers of oil paint glazing. Participants should bring their own source material to work from. All levels welcome!
All program registrations close 1 week prior to the program date, at 5pm.
ZOOM links for all classes are sent out the day before the first class date, no later than 5pm.
