It is our pleasure to welcome Valérie Lagier, Chief Heritage Curator of the Franco-American Museum of Blérancourt Castle. The Franco-American museum is the only one in France dedicated to the relationships between France and the United States.
The castle’s team produced a unique video for us in which Museum Director Rodolphe Rapetti will give us a warm welcome. Valérie Lagier will talk about the incredible history of the French and American friendship. You will watch -at your leisure- the video before joining Valérie, who will be live from the museum and ready to answer all your questions!
This event is in two parts: first you will watch the 20min video that we will send you one week before the event; second, you will meet Valérie Lagier who will give a brief presentation followed by a live Q&A.
Online Event in English.

ABOUT CHÂTEAU DE BLÉRANCOURT
Unique in France, the Franco-American museum, dedicated to the France and United States relationships, was built on the ruins of a XVII century castle. It was founded in 1924 by Anne Morgan, daughter of the American financier J.P Morgan, who established a humanitarian organization to help rebuild the region, the CARD.
This museum allows to present art collections following 3 great themes: Les Lumières’ ideals which are at the origins of the first alliances between the two nations; the battles in which France and the United States fought side by side; and the Art, starting point of numerous transatlantic exchanges.
