Each year, Vinfen uses the power of film to raise awareness, foster dialogue, and combat the prejudices and discrimination often faced by people with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges.

This year’s films shine a critical light on a range of audiences that are often underserved, under supported, or under resourced. The gaps in person-centered care that these films bring into focus, and the panel discussions to follow, allow us to explore meaningful solutions and cultivate critical change within the communities we serve.

Featured films include A Place to BreatheUnseenand 25 Prospect Street.

Continuing Education (CE) contact hours are also offered for Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Social Workers, and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Please visit https://vinfen.org/moving-images-film-festival/ for more details.
