Moving Images uses the power of film to raise awareness, educate our community, and fight prejudice and discrimination often faced by people who have psychiatric conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges.
The event features films followed by interactive and educational panel discussions comprised of stars from the films; experts in the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing, and social work, community members, advocates, and self-advocates; and people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers.
Feature length films this year include Off the Rails, Asperger's Are Us, and Beyond Silence.
